A training contract is a legally binding agreement between employer and trainee. In signing the contract, all parties are bound by certain obligations in the contract and legislation.
Educators may elect to study full-time or part-time– learning on the job! Educators will need to be permanently employed for a minimum of 15 hours per week, and will not be eligible if they are a casual employee or sub-contractor.
Educators will need to be minimum working age but there is no maximum age limit to begin a traineeship and will also need to be an Australian Citizen, a New Zealand passport holder or hold a visa that allows you to engage in work in Australia.
